Music Recognition Application (MRA)

By downloading or using MRA, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use MRA.
MRA is developed and operated by Emircan Gezer (Jadquir), an individual developer based in Türkiye.
MRA is a Windows desktop application for music recognition and discovery. Features include song identification (including continuous and file-based detection), AI-based song authenticity detection, music discovery (similar tracks, recommendations, Vibez), synced lyrics, song downloads, data export, artist and album details, and MusicLink integration for cross-platform streaming links. Core identification features are free. Some features require a paid subscription ("Supporter Mode").
MRA is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Union). By using MRA, you confirm that you meet the applicable age requirement in your jurisdiction.
An account is optional. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Contact mra@jadquir.com if you believe your account has been compromised. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

You agree not to:
Song downloads: MRA does not authorise or condone downloading copyright-protected content without the legal right to do so. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any content you download complies with applicable copyright law in your jurisdiction.
Redistribution: You may share MRA with others provided that you direct them to the official website at mra.jadquir.com, do not host the files yourself, and do not imply any endorsement or official affiliation. Hosting MRA files on third-party servers or distributing modified versions is not permitted.
Companies and websites: If you are a company, publication, or website and would like to feature, promote, or distribute MRA, you may request our approval by emailing mra@jadquir.com. Approved partners may share MRA subject to conditions agreed upon in writing. Unapproved distribution by organisations is subject to the same rules as personal sharing above.
MRA uses Shazam (Apple) for song identification. Accuracy is not guaranteed and may vary based on audio quality and song availability. After each identification, MRA sends technical song identifiers and a success/failure result to our servers for analytics and the Top Tracks feature. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Continuous Detection uses the same audio fingerprinting process as single identification, applied in a loop. The same data handling described above and in our Privacy Policy applies to each identification in a continuous session.
MRA uses SH Labs to provide AI Song Detection. A brief audio preview of the identified song is sent to SH Labs for analysis. MRA tracks daily usage of this feature per user to enforce the per-day limit (free users: 1/day; Supporters: 5/day). SH Labs is a third-party service outside of our control.
MRA uses MusicLink, our own API service, to resolve cross-platform streaming links for identified songs.
MRA uses Supabase as a database backend for the public Top Tracks feature and to track usage of limited functions to enforce per-user limits.
MRA's song identification features depend on Shazam (Apple) and SH Labs, third-party services outside of our control. These services may change or revoke access at any time, which could result in MRA's identification features being degraded or unavailable. In such a case, we will make reasonable efforts to find alternatives and communicate significant disruptions, but we are not liable for loss of features or paid access resulting from third-party service changes.
MRA offers an optional companion tool, MRAUpdater, which downloads and replaces MRA files when an update is available.
By downloading and running MRAUpdater, you acknowledge that:
MRA offers optional paid features through Supporter Mode, including Vibez (music discovery player), playlists, cloud backup, synced lyrics, AI song authenticity detection, and more.
All payments are processed by Polar.sh. By subscribing, you agree to Polar.sh's Terms of Service. MRA does not store your payment details.
The minimum price to access Supporter features is $3.99/month or $39.99/year. You may choose to contribute more than the minimum at checkout if you wish to further support development — any amount above the minimum is voluntary and non-refundable.
We are unable to provide refunds for Supporter subscriptions. Cancelling your subscription disables automatic renewal only — your Supporter access remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which it will not renew.
Exception: In cases where we are directly responsible for a significant service failure — such as a server outage or a broken feature that we have acknowledged as our fault — we may issue a refund at our discretion. To request a refund on these grounds, contact mra@jadquir.com with a description of the issue.
EU consumers: If you reside in the European Union, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. However, by purchasing Supporter Mode and immediately accessing the premium features, you explicitly request early commencement of the service and acknowledge that you waive your right of withdrawal once the service has begun.
Your recognition history and app data are stored locally on your device. You own this data. If you use Cloud Backup, your data is stored on our servers and accessible only via your account.
Metadata Export: When you export song metadata from MRA, that data is provided to you for personal use. We are not responsible for any use you make of exported data, including any actions that may infringe third-party rights.
MRA is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that any specific feature will remain available. Features may be updated, changed, or removed over time. This includes features that depend on third-party services outside of our control.
You are responsible for how you use MRA and for any actions taken through or with the application. MRA is a tool and we are not responsible for outcomes resulting from your use of it.
You may stop using MRA at any time. To delete your account, email mra@jadquir.com — we will process your request within 30 days. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Emircan Gezer (Jadquir) is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of MRA, including:
Use of MRA is at your own risk.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, including the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) where applicable. Payment disputes are governed by Polar.sh's terms. EU consumers retain any rights granted to them under mandatory EU consumer protection law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of MRA after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
