#Patreon Now Available as a Payment Option
We've added Patreon as an alternative way to support MRA.
Polar.sh remains our primary payment option — it's straightforward and starts at $3.99/month. But Polar.sh doesn't support every payment method. If you prefer PayPal, or another method that Polar.sh doesn't offer but Patreon does, you can now connect your Patreon account to your MRA account and get the same Supporter access that way.
#Patreon Tiers
All tiers unlock the exact same Supporter features — no tier gets anything extra. The higher tiers are simply for users who want to contribute more to development.

The MRA Supporter tier ($5/month) is the closest equivalent to the Polar.sh subscription ($3.99/month). The Plus and Sponsor tiers exist for users who want to support development beyond the base price — thank you if that's you.
#How It Works
- Go to the Supporter page
- If Polar.sh doesn't support your preferred payment method, click "Connect Patreon"
- Authorize MRA to read your Patreon membership
- Subscribe to any MRA tier on Patreon
- Your Supporter access activates automatically
You only need one active method at a time. You can switch or disconnect either from your account settings.
#Important Notes
- Patreon memberships are managed through Patreon directly — billing, renewal, and cancellation all happen on Patreon's side
- If you cancel on Patreon, your Supporter access remains active until the end of the current billing period
- If you're already subscribed via Polar.sh, no action is needed — nothing changes for you
