#Action Required: Songlink API Shutting Down July 31st
The public API powering Songlink/Odesli — used in older versions of MRA to generate cross-platform streaming links — is being officially discontinued on July 31, 2026.
If you're on MRA 0.111 or earlier, streaming links for songs you identify will stop working after that date.
#What this means for you
Older MRA versions relied on Songlink to resolve and display links to songs across platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and others. Once the API shuts down, those links will no longer load.
#Already fixed in MRA 0.2 Alpha
We migrated away from Songlink ahead of the shutdown. MRA 0.2 Alpha uses our own MusicLink platform as a replacement — built and maintained by us, so there's no third-party dependency to worry about.
Update to 0.2 Alpha now to keep streaming links working.
